We are compassionate professionals bringing needed expertise

How we work

Community development is the foundation of all our work. We start by listening. Partnering with local people to identify needs, Reclaim provides expertise that is missing or underrepresented in the community. Our associates are qualified professionals in Agriculture, Education, Health & Wellness, Disability Services, and Anti-Human Trafficking.

We seek out and amplify the voices of the marginalized. With outstretched hands and humble hearts, our programs respect the local community while encouraging people to pursue the values of God’s kingdom.

Our programs

We design programs that respect local communities and encourage people to pursue the values of God’s kingdom as we work together toward lasting transformation

Amplifying the voices of the marginalized

We approach community development as both learners and qualified professionals. While Reclaim provides expertise to support the priorities of local communities, we also amplify and support the voices of the marginalized.

Caring for the rescued + at risk

We integrate methods in our programs to identify and mitigate risks for vulnerable individuals and those victimized by human trafficking. Reclaim works to address injustices and care for those at risk so they feel valued, seen, loved, and protected.

Better soil = better crops

Our agricultural programs focus on two of the most important resources farmers need: the soil and information. We work side-by-side with farmers to identify techniques that improve yields and provide greater sustainability.

Replacing limitations with hope

A person with a disability is often not hindered by the limitations attached to their disability; they are limited by the social contexts and obstacles around them. We identify and work to remove societal barriers and relational barriers that exclude persons with disabilities.

Nurturing holistic development

We work beyond the boundaries of traditional education. Through music education, teaching English as a second language, academic tutoring, and special education, we help people on the margins flourish by creating spaces where they can develop their God-given potential.

Making a healthier life possible

Our health and wellness programs provide access to high-quality healthcare services, health education, and medical equipment to elevate people’s quality of life. We bring together best practices and an understanding of local challenges to promote holistic flourishing.

Our partner-program associates partner with organizations around the world to provide needed expertise. We work in different settings such as hospitals, schools, refugee camps, counseling centers, vocational training, business consultation, and journalism.

Stories of Transformation

Alma was born in Guatemala with a disability called spina bifida. Unable to walk, she spent the first 14 years of her life isolated, locked in a room, confined to a bed or the floor. Her mother said she was a mistake. Her father said she was not his daughter. Alma wanted to go to school and have friends, but her disability made that impossible.
